Link between components
The virtual component will run from 12 October to 7 December 2026. It provides the conceptual and collaborative foundation for the intensive on-site week and ensures sustained interaction among students and teachers from the partner institutions before the physical mobility. Scheduled online sessions are complemented by guided international teamwork using collaborative digital tools.
The virtual component includes:
- Introduction to green skills, responsible strategic management, sustainable business models, ESG principles, the SDGs, circular economy, green innovation and digital transformation for sustainability.
- International team formation, exchange of disciplinary and national perspectives, and collaborative analysis of selected organisational sustainability challenges.
- Case discussions, guided digital collaboration and progressive development of the teams' problem framing and proposed strategic approach.
- Online mentoring and feedback to prepare the teams for the intensive on-site workshops, company engagement and final challenge-based activities in Bragança.
The virtual phase is designed to promote active participation, peer learning, intercultural exchange and continuity between online and on-site learning. By its conclusion, participants will share a common conceptual framework and will have advanced their analysis of the challenge sufficiently to use the physical week for deeper investigation, stakeholder engagement, solution development and professional communication.
