Course contents:

Main characteristics of Romanian culture and civilization in the middle of 19th century. The main important classic writers: Mihai Eminescu, Ion Creangă, I.L.Caragiale, Ioan Slavici General activity of “Junimea” Cultural Society Evolution of Romanian modern criticism: Titu Maiorescu and C.D. Gherea
