Course aims:

Assimilation of a general knowledge of the history of the church music of Byzantine tradition from the Romanian space in general and from the Transylvanian space in particular;
Learning the basics of psaltic and linear musical notation;
Formation of practical skills in church choir singing.

The discipline aims to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on the evolution of music history, musical phenomena and personalities in the field of music.
