Course aims:

Development of competences regarding the formulation and compliance with the requirements of safety and stability of the elements and structures of resistance in the field of constructions.
- the behavior and the calculation of the structural elements at compound requests - energy theories and their use in the calculation of generalized displacements - fundamental elements in the calculation of beams on elastic medium - analysis of beams and poles in the post-elastic field -stability o
After completing the discipline, students will be able to: - to use in the calculations of resistance the tables with the geometrical characteristics of the laminated profiles and, respectively, the tables with coefficients, from the specialized literature; - to efficiently use the pocket computer f
- to recognize the type of compound request, to calculate the tensions per section, to solve problems related to dimensioning, verification and capable load - determine the central pipes at current sections.
Assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the dimensioning / verification / establishment of the load capable of an element or a structure of resistance. Drafting and presenting a technical report containing the calculation of resistance of an element.
