Course aims:

The purpose of this course is to conduct an in-depth analysis of cybercrime and other related issues.
Obtaining the necessary knowledge to understand cybercrime.
Understanding different aspects in regard to e-evidence.

1. What is cybercrime? 2. Relavant legislation for cybercrime. National and international perspective 3. Relevant terminology 4. Unauthorized access to a computer system 5. Computer fraud 6. Computer forgery 7. Computer search and seizure 8. Surveillance 9. Blockchain, virtual currencies and criminal law 10. Child pornography 11. Other computer crimes 12. Privilege against self-incrimination and cryptography </>

Lectures, slides, debates.

Learning outcomes:

• Applying theories, principles and concepts in a context determined • Preliminary analysis of the data, their interpretation, the carrying out of classifications and some conceptual delineations • Development of Vocational projects using theories, principles and specific methods of entitlement.

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Written paper – 80% / Oral exam - 80%; continuous assessment – 20%.
