Course aims:

Developing the skills of scientific inquiry of the economic phenomenon for the future specialists
Identifying the real economic problems which the master students have to solve by using methods and instruments of specific scientific inquiry
Appropriation and aplying the values of the professional ethics in the research activity

1. Research and academic writing in economics and business administration  

2. Stages of the scientific research and the main instruments used

3. Documentation and scientific learning. The use of library and online databases.                                                          

4. Methods of research used in economics

5. Writing and public presentation of a scientific paper

6. Scientific papers publishing

7. Ethics of scientific research

Teaching methods:

Lecture, discussions, study cases, exercises

Learning outcomes:

Achieving the theoretical and practical abilities, proven by adequate use of the research methods presented

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:
