Course aims:

• To identify the fundamental aspects related to the specificity of the early education in our country
• To explain the relation between early education and pre-school education
• To describe the methodological principles of the programs for early education
• To apply the pedagogical knowledge in practice in a context of early education

Course Entry Requirements:

The knowledge of the pedagogical concepts and theories, the stimulation of the interest for the scientific study of the pedagogical factors involved in early education

Course contents:

1. Early education as complex and new field of study/action 2. Studies/ research programs for small and pre-school ages 3. Normative milestones and principles in the programs for early education 4. The dimensions of the educational process in the favour of the child development 5. Tasks and tests for the evaluation of the small child 6. Aspects related to the organisation of the educational environment and of the daily program in nurseries and other institutions for ante-pre-school education 7. Perspectives in the approach of the game in the early education 8. The role of the organisation of the space in the development of the small and pre-school child 9. Types of activities developed in the services of ante-pre-school education 10. The specificity of the child’s education from birth till the age of 3, and from the age of 3 to 6 years 11. Aspects related to the children with special educational needs in the context of the early education 12. The self-image and the self-respect in the early education 13. The evaluation and the observation of the ante-pre-school child and of the pre-school child 14. The educational partnership in the context of the early education
