                                     - Objectives of the course consist of the knowledge concerning the fundamental methods used in electronic and telecommunication measurement modern technology 
                                     -The course focuses especially on getting the technical skills for choosing and using the right electronic measurement instruments 
                                     - The course is dedicated for understanding the working mode and principles of the devices and for achieved data analysis 
                                     - The practica s dedicated to share technical measurement skills 
                                     - describing the operation of the devices and the fundamental procedures for measurement of electric quantities 
                            
Fundamentals of electric and electronic circuits, technical measurement skills.
• I. Fundamental concepts in metrology - 2:00h (fundamental and derived units, measurement procedures, propagation of errors). • II. Operational amplifier: inverting and non-inverting connection, feedback, comparator – 2h (symbol, diagrams, mathematical model, particularities) • III. Electronic instruments - 2h (analog voltmeter, digital voltmeter, electronic ammeter, clamp meter) • IV. Cathode-ray oscilloscope -2h (block diagram, cathode-ray diagram, operation and structure of the electron gun, deflection system, analog storage oscilloscope, oscilloscope accessories, performance, trends) • V. Oscilloscope input channel, timebase – 2h (Y-axis channel structure, attenuation / amplification, structure and working of the timebase, types of sweep: continuous running and triggered, synchronization) • VI. Signal generator, assembly, performance - 2h (working principles, block diagrams, distortions, pulse generators, function generators) • VII. Logic analyzers - 2h (analyzer setup and programming, spectral analysis instruments, 10MHz Spectrum analyzer, spectral visualization methods)
Technical presentation and meeting with experimental exemplification.
- describing the operation of the devices and the electronic circuits and the fundamental procedures for measurement of electric quantities; - usage of electronic instruments and specific methods for the description and evaluation of the performance of some electronic circuits and systems; - time domain and spectral signal description; - explanation and interpretation of the signal acquisition and processing methods.
