Course aims:

Understanding the specifics of surgical patients, knowing the main surgical conditions and types of operations based on affected organs
Learning preoperative preparation methods specific to each condition, understanding natural progression, and possible postoperative complications
Learning nursing methods, specific care, applying postoperative rebalancing and supportive treatment until discharge

Course Entry Requirements:

Students must know the fundamentals of Biochemistry, Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathophysiology, General Nursing, and General Surgery
