Course aims:

To acquire theoretical and practical knowledge regarding practice of fitness for all
To be able to advice and guide persons that are looking to obtain a healthy lifestyle
To be able to carry out teaching and research activities in optimal conditions

Course contents:

1. Conceptual delimitations. Skeletal system - 1 hour 2. Muscular, nervous and respiratory system. Blood - 1 hour 3. Characteristics of activities specific to fitness for all - 1 hour 4. Physiology and strength training - 1 hour 5. Energy sources - muscle energy production - 1 hour 6. Parameters of effort - volume, intensity, density, complexity - 1 hour 7. Fatigue and overtraining - 1 hour 8. Anaerobic effort - 1 hour 9. Aerobic effort - 1 hour 10. Strength training - methods, means, muscle building - 1 hour 11. Aerobic training - methods, means, weight loss, flexibility - 1 hour 12. Risks and injuries - muscle trauma - 1 hour 13. Recovery - means of recovery - 1 hour 14. Training design for beginner workouts in fitness for all. - 1 hour
