- To define, in general, the characteristics of the didactic-poetic literature.
- To memorize the messianic psalms and their relationship with the New Testament.
- To retain the theological ideas of the didactic-poetic books (the relationship between man and God; the teaching about man and angels; the role of women in Jewish society; the problem of the suffering of law in the world).
- Emphasize the role and importance of the psalms in the history of salvation.
