The general aim of the discipline consists in providing knowledge on quantitative methods applied in administration.
It also provides skills to collect and maintain statistical data, to plot and process the specific data.
Based on the acquired skills, the students will be able to analyze the phenomena occurred in public and private administration.

Instruction is a combination of lectures, seminars and individual work; there are also compulsory assignments. There is 80% attendance requirement for seminars.
-assimilating fundamental knowledge related to quantitative methods used in administration; -forming aptitudes needed for processing and analyzing the statistical data; this course graduate will be able to collect, systematize, graphically represent, and interpret statistical data specific to administration ; -developing the capacity to relate to standards connected with rigor and accuracy in data analysis.
- Final evaluation–project based on real data: Assessment of the specific knowledge during the presentation of the project (90% of the final grade); Continuous assessment: of the practical skills in data analysis during the seminars (10%).
