This course introduces students to the theory and practice of interpreting.. We focused on the main interpreting techniques for both consecutive and simultaneuous interpreting from English to Romanian and vice versa. Translation and Interpreting Studies, Principles of Translation and Interpreting, Research Methods in Translation and Interpreting, Consecutive Interopreting, Simultaneous Interpreting, Conference Interpreting, public Service Interpreting, Remote Interpreting: telephone and Video-Conferencing.
This course is based on ‘hands on’ approach. The students will work both individually and in groups on specific research based on the given topics.

Combined oral and written examination, verifying the students’ level of knowledge. (50%+50%).
