Course aims:

Exercising intelligence, imposing the rigors of thinking, developing the method, logical qualities and linguistic qualities in order to form clear ideas about the history of Latin
The inclusion in a unitary and coherent structure of the problems regarding the history of the language
Formation of a wide-ranging orientation base towards the further deepening of the topics through individual study; correct mastery of specialized terms

5. Latin in the Middle Ages Emperor Justinian and his Code of Laws

8. Latin in the developed. Middle AgesTestamentary deed and usufruct
9. Latin in the Late Middle Ages. Treaty of alliance and obedience
10. Latin at the dawn of the modern age. The act of sale-purchase
11. Neo-Latin, the academic language. Dimitrie Cantemir and the History Treatise: The History of the Ottoman Empire
