Course aims:

Knowledge of the basic notions and mechanisms of the management of occupational therapy services
Analyze significant data for the implementation of strategies to proactively promote the provision of services at the local level, in correlation with the local level of health and social requirements
Use of field and specialist knowledge to interpret and critically analyze evidence from qualitative and quantitative research in order to develop and promote evidence-based practice.

Fundamental notions of occupational therapy

Course contents:

1. The introductory issue regarding the management and evaluation of occupational therapy services
2. Project management and institution management
3. The system of occupational therapy services in Romania
4. Social management - determining factor in the provision of integrated services (social and health)
 5. The functions of social management from the perspective of integrated services
6. The attributions of the local public authorities regarding the social protection
7. Promoting the social protection system
8. The diversity of social protection systems
9. Risk management in occupational therapy services
10. Risk manager within the programs - risk psychology
11. Legislative framework on Social and health services
12. The adjacent legislative framework regarding occupational therapy and social services in Romania
13. The analysis of the project in terms of objectives, purpose, results and activity is given according to the logical matrix of the project
