Course aims:
Knowledge and use of the terms "moral duty" and "human rights";
Knowledge of the fundamental human rights: the right to life, freedom, equality, fraternity, justice, right to work;
Know and understand the theological concept of human person;
The knowledge and practical application of the moral virtues;
Knowledge and understanding of the concepts of "sin" and "passion" and their moral-religious meaning;

Moral personality in the Orthodox Christian teaching;
Virtue in the light of Christian morality (I-II);
Sin and its moral-religious meaning (I-II);
The face of Christ in the being and the moral life of the Christian;
Teaching methods:
Lecture, exemplification, conversation, debate.
Learning outcomes:
Know the fundamental human rights and distinguish the moral duty from these. Know the concept of "moral conscience" and understand its moral role in human life;
Know and distinguish the concept of "indvid" from "person" and "moral personality";
Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:
It lists the fundamental human rights;It defines moral consciousness;Know the theological virtues;Know the cardinal virtues;Define sin and passion;Written paper-interpretative essay – 10%. Frontal evaluation/ Oral exam: 90%.
