Course aims:
- knowing the basic elements of Christianity at the doctrinal, cultic and moral level;
- identifying the personalities and the historical moments that serve as models in the formation of generations of students;
- identification of possible models of interreligious and inter-Christian dialogue;

I. Preliminaries
II. The history of the formation of the New Testament Canon.
III. New Testament text (issues of textual criticism)
IV. The history of the New Testament era
V. The Gospels of the New Testament
VI. The Gospel of Matthew
Teaching methods:
Lecture, debate, presentation.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course students will know the historical evolution of the Church in a cultural, political, social context.

Oral exam 50%, essay 40 % and implication in course debates 10%
