Course aims:

Ability to describe, explain and demonstrate elementary in the field of secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy
The ability to create exercises and programs that correspond to the specific procedures of the field.
The ability to evaluate and capitalize the effects of kinetoprophylaxy on different age categories and socio-professional groups

Course contents:

1. Overall effort capacity testing - 2 hours; 2. Global and analytical testing of the musculoskeletal system - 2 hours; 3. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in - chronic rheumatic disorders- 2 hours; 4. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in diseases of the musculoskeletal system: - posture and alignment disorders - 2 hours; 5. Methodology for applying muscle stretching and connective tissue; exercises by muscle groups; exercise sets for kinetoprophylaxy, practical applications - 2 hours; 6. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in diseases of the cardiovascular system: chronic ischemic cardiopathy, atherosclerosis, etc. – 2 hours; 7. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in diseases of the cardiovascular system: chronic ischemic cardiopathy, atherosclerosis, etc. – 2 hours ; 8. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in nutrition and metabolism diseases: diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia dyslipidemia prophylaxis in atherosclerosis – 2 hours ; 9. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in respiratory diseases – 2 hours ; 10. Kinetoprophylaxy programs in obesity – 2 hours ; 11. Secondary and tertiary kinetoprophylaxis in functional diseases of the nervous system – 2 hours ; 12. Tertiary kinetoprophylaxy in functional diseases of the nervous system – 2 hours ; 13. Training programs for trauma prophylaxis in sport – 2 hours ; 14. Kinetoprophylaxy programs in the spa resort – 2 hours

Teaching methods:

Interactive lecture, PP presentation, video exemplifications, discussions and practical rehabilitation programs

Learning outcomes:

Students should be able, after attending this course, to have theoretical and practical knowledge in Secondary and Tertiary Kinetotherapy to carry out an objective evaluation and an rehabilitation program on their own.

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Seminar - Final evaluation - Grade for attending the seminars and presentation of a practical video - 50% from the final grade.
