The overall objective of this discipline is to strengthen the concepts of trigonometry and algebra studied in high school, including at the same time, elements of algebra required higher education and other objects.

Lecture, discussion, exemplification.
In order to obtain credits for this discipline the students have to: - Know the basic concepts related to measurement units and conversion of degrees angles in radian. - know how to deal with trigonometric functions, their inverses and solve elementary trigonometric equations - compute Scalar and vector product compute. - Operate with complex numbers in trigonometric form and solve quadratic equations of degree two and three with complex coefficients.
Final evaluation – 50%; continuous assessment – 50%.
