Course aims:

The course aims to present the main theoretical and applied landmarks related to the management of urban settlements
The main engine of progress, urban settlements, is at the same time a framework in which the activities of production, consumption and creativity take place in contemporary society, but also the main space on which and from which man has manifested most of his unreasonable beginnings and / or destructive on the geosystem.
Formation of an integrative way of approaching the urban system, as a territorial system with specific structure and functioning, as well as as a fundamental element within the settlement system

Instruction is a combination of lectures, conversation and theoretical with practical examples

Learning outcomes:

C4. Field application of urban projects and landscaping, civil and industrial constructions, roads and works of art, hydrotechnical constructions and land improvements, etc. C8. Application of the technical regulations of cadastre and urbanism with the observance of the principles regarding the protection of the environment

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Exam written/ oral - 60% ; Laboratory activity test - practically 40%.
