Course aims:

Knowledge of methods and techniques for analyzing and monitoring environmental quality
Selecting the appropriate methods and techniques for evaluating and monitoring the quality of the environment in order to solve the theoretical and practical problems
Applying the methods of analysis and evaluation of the quality of the environment followed by the assessment, interpretation and validation of the obtained results.

1. Use of mathematical models in environmental engineering. The advantages of modeling and simulation 2. Mathematical models. Classification. 3. Analytical mathematical models 4. Learning outcomes:

The accumulation by the students of the knowledge related to this discipline implies a preparation of them so that they can solve the problems that appear in practice by creating appropriate mathematical models.
