Knowing, understanding and a correct using of the protocol rules of mediation.

Basic aspects of French, English and Romanian culture and civilization.
Aspects of protocol and personal image. Concepts, history and importance. Rules of customary protocol and high-level protocol. Etiquette, greetings and interaction. The rules of conversation and interpreting in official missions and high-level protocol. General norms of behavior in protocol activities.
Lecture, conversation, reading, interpretation.
Identification of main characteristics of protocol and etiquette. Understanding and interpretation of cultural steretypes. Correct use of terminology in protocol situations. Ability to adapt to the cultural differences.
Oral exam – 50%, continuous assessment – 50%.
