Course aims:

• to provide the minimum knowledge in what concerns roman law
• to assimilate new juridical information about juridical institutions of roman law which are correlated with contemporary law.
The fundamental objective of this discipline consists in knowing the main regulations in the protection of Human Rights

Introduction to roman law

Course contents:

1.Stages in the evolution of roman state. The mean of source of law. 2 The roman procedings of justice. 3.Extraordinary procedure in roman law. 4.Roman family, the parent power, marriage. Loosing juridical capacity. 5 The propriety and right of propriety in roman society. 6 The entail. 7.Contracts.Essencials elements as: capacity, object. Types of contracts.

Teaching methods:

Lecture, conversation, exemplification.
