Course aims:

Provide theoretical and historical understanding of wall mosaic as a form of monumental art.
Explore the evolution of techniques, materials, and stylistic approaches in modern and contemporary mosaic art.
Develop students’ analytical and creative abilities through case studies and practical applications in monumental art projects.

Students will be able to analyze themes and representative monuments of wall mosaics, evaluate the evolution of techniques in modern and contemporary art, and apply analytical and creative skills in case studies, demonstrating understanding of stylistic changes and the capacity to propose original artistic solutions.
