Course aims:

- the formation of skills through which the student can reaches the stage of direct expression of the plastic message, through specific, secular and canonical-religious means
-adapting the compositional design to the Byzantine specifics of icon and mural art.

Course contents:

Elements of plastic language - point, line, spot

Construction of shape and plastic space with  the help of perspective elements

Amplifying the expressiveness of language elements tablet to suggest volume and space

Correlation of the expressive potential of the elements of plastic language and graphic techniques to highlight the character of the studied nature

Exercises to train the skills of observing and studied the model for drawing - drawing by nature

The shape-surface ratio, the study of the elements anatomical- nose, eyes, lips, ear

The shape-surface ratio, the study of the elements anatomical - hand, foot

The relation linear rhythm-value-study of the elements anatomical - skull, crossbones

Teaching methods:

lecture, debates, exemples, practical activities

Learning outcomes:

Transmitting theoretical notions and making specific practical applications the field of drawing, the development of artistic visual skills through awareness, assimilation and representation of graphic, constructive principles and value from the models in the proposed themes.

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

oral exam 50%, and implication in seminar practical activities 50%
