Course contents:

1. Geographical area. Organization, planning and sustainable development of the geographical area. General aspects; 2. Rural area; 3. Agricultural area - agricultural ecosystem; 4. Green area; 5. Urban area.

Teaching methods:

Lecture, conversation, exemplification.

Learning outcomes:

- The ability to understand and apply the current Romanian legal framework and to align to the EU principles and directions - Developing skills and aptitudes for optimal exploitation of natural and economic potential, organizing integrated energy transfer networks, information, goods, people, building an advanced technological infrastructure of the territory, development of settlements, equitable distribution of industrial sites and of social and cultural facilities.

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Written test examination - 60%, Verification during the semester- 40%.
