Course aims:

Knowlege of concepts about sustainable development and the importance of interdisciplinary approach in designing energy-efficient buildings and sustainable urban planning.
Performance criteria in designing buildings with near zero energy consumption nZEB, in accordance with the european legal requirements from recast directive EPDB.
Performance criteria regarding the integrated urban planning of new urban areas and subject to major renovations with the objective of achieving at an average zonal level the performances proper to the category of buildings with zero energy consumption nZEB
