Course aims:
Knowledge of concepts, methods and tools specific to the evaluation and intervention of individual occupational therapy
Knowledge about how to evaluate each system / function of the human body
Carrying out programs to promote activities that meet the needs and rights of clients for their daily occupations, starting from the relationship employment - health - well-being
Course Entry Requirements:
Fundamental notions of occupational therapy
Course contents:
1. The philosophical framework of occupational therapy
2. Evaluation in occupational therapy - general notions
3. The importance of evaluation in clinical practice
4. The characteristics of evaluation in occupational therapy
5. Evaluation of the general clinical-functional status
6. Clinical evaluation of motor skills
7.Evaluation of manual movement coordination, hand movement dissociation and sensorimotor learning
8. Evaluation in stroke
9-10. Methods of quantified evaluation of the components of independence / functional autonomy of the beneficiaries of occupational therapy services
11-12. Client-centered clinical reasoning in occupational therapy: standard and performance indicators.
13-14. Evaluation of the physical, social, cultural context, as a source of facilitation or barrier of occupational performance
