Course aims:

to use correctly and in various contexts the specific terminology in psychopedagogy of early education and small schooling;
to build educational projects, based on coherent didactic strategies, which stimulate the integral development of children's personality;
to identify didactic methodologies specific to early education and small schooling, used in European countries;
to select and apply the methods of didactic strategies for early education and small schooling, specific to Romania and other European countries;
to develop design models by applying the educational solutions used in European countries and adapted to the Romanian specific;

Course Entry Requirements:

• Basic knowledge in the field of didactics of preschool education and of the small schooling acquired during the degree studies, through professional experience and / or in non-formal or informal learning contexts.

Course contents:

1.Introduction to modern teaching. - The concept of didactics. Development directions. - The object of study of the didactics. non-formal or informal learning. 2. The educational process, theoretical and practical reference of the didactics. 3. Trends in modern teaching 4. Characteristics of didactics from a cognitive perspective 5. Interactive training - a current challenge in Romanian pedagogical theory and practice 6. Methodological benchmarks for operational interactive pedagogy 7. The importance of professional development in the teaching career
