Course aims:

Description of concepts, theories, and methodologies used in research in the field of general health care.
Explanation of research topics and interpretation of study hypotheses.
Development of specific study methodologies, monitoring the course of studies/projects, data collection.
Analysis of obtained data/results, integration with other studies on the same topic, identification of the practical applicability of results.
Knowledge of patients’ rights, rights and obligations of medical staff, responsibilities of the College of Physicians and the College of Nurses in Romania.

  3. Ethical and legal principles of medical practice
  4. The right and duty to heal. The right to health
  5. Bioethics of conception and human sexuality
  6. The right to die – ethical dimensions of euthanasia
  7. Patients’ rights, consent, and confidentiality

Adequate preparation and sensitization of students regarding the constantly relevant issues of ethics and medical deontology.
