Examining EU democracy according to governance theory versus consociational democracy
Analysis of the role of supranational actors in the decision-making process

Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the main approaches and theories regarding European integration
Knowing the history of European construction.
Knowledge of the institutional actors and the decision-making process at the European Union level.
Students will know to identify and use the relevant sources of information about the European Union
Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:
Course (50%) Acquiring the knowledge of the course and from the specialized bibliography.
Seminar (50%) Participation in the seminar debates and oral presentation of a given topic.
