Aims
Teaching the fundamental concepts and issues of Regional Sociology with respect to regional development and European regional policies fulfillment.
To know the origin of regional sociology and European regional policies

Learning outcomes
- Knowledge of heuristic and practical valences of sociological perspective on region.
- Ability to analyse a region at a structural, relational and occupational level.
Assessment
Written paper – applicative essay – 60%; continuous assessment – 40%.
