Course contents:

1. - 5. Jobs market. Searching for a job. Working. Jobs and professions 6. – 11.Translations from various fields of Economy: Marketing, Tourism, Finances, etc. 12. – 14. Parallel corpora

Teaching methods:

The main method: Communicative language teaching (CLT)The focus of this method is to enable the learner to communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations in the field of Economy he would be likely to find himself in.

Learning outcomes:

• match a good knowledge of economic principles to an awareness of their uses and limitations; • establish identities, similarities and differences between French and Romanian economic contexts; and • integrate their own ideas with those of others; • identify their own strengths and challenges as writers and speakers.

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Students will be examined on theoretical aspects (50% of the final grade) and practical aspects acquisition (50% of the final grade) at the end of the semester.
