Course aims:

The purpose of the course material is, first of all, to sensitize the student to the correct understanding of the concept of quality, to familiarize him / her with a series of notions and definitions related to quality and to create the conviction regarding the involvement in the sphere of responsib
The definitions of the various terms that concern the quality field must be well understood and understood as the misuse of some notions can create great confusion, with negative consequences in the process management.
- the study of equipment failures (of causes, of processes of appearance and development and of methods of combating defects); - quantitative assessment of the behavior of the equipment during operation under normal conditions.
-determining the models and methods of calculation and forecasting of the reliability, based on the laboratory tests and the monitoring of the behavior in operation of the equipment;
- establishing the design, constructive, technological and exploitation methods for ensuring, maintaining and increasing the reliability of the equipment, devices and component elements;

Course Entry Requirements:

Electronics and industrial informatics, The basics of robotics

Course contents:

Quality objectives and strategy. Measurement of product quality. Stages, content of control activity, methods and means of control. Economic efficiency. Information costs in the field of quality. Reliability of industrial products and processes. Simulation of reliability of industrial products. Estimating the reliability of industrial processes based on capacity indices and the average of the operational period. Colloquium.

Teaching methods:

Lecture, discussion, video projection

Learning outcomes:

Conducting summer internships at Bosh, Siemens and Continental companies contributes to increasing students' experience in the field of electronic device exploitation. The situation of the aforementioned companies near Alba County is an opportunity for the students from EA.
