Course aims:

The design and planning of the occupational therapy intervention program that involves the holistic approach of the individual, taking into account his mental, physical and spiritual needs and abilities, in relation to his occupations and his living environment;
Use of reasoning, summative assessment and quantification of occupational performance to assess the quality, merits and limits of processes/programs/projects based on the level of customer satisfaction
Knowledge, identification and selection of appropriate methods for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of occupational therapy intervention programs, using reasoning and/or practice evidence

Course contents:

The conceptual framework of evaluation in occupational therapy
The methodology for classifying the patient in terms of ADLs, the correct completion of the ADL scale for the patient who will follow the occupational therapy program
The holistic approach of the individual, taking into account his mental, physical and spiritual needs and abilities, in relation to his occupations and his living environment (physical/ family/ social/ professional)

Learning outcomes:

Identifying and selecting appropriate methods for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of occupational therapy intervention programs, using reasoning and/or practice evidence
The use of reasoning, summative evaluation and quantification of occupational performance to assess the quality, merits and limits of processes/programs/projects based on the level of customer satisfaction
Carrying out practical steps of transactional analysis of person - environment - occupation to identify intervention needs through occupational therapy.
