Course aims:

The use of integrated conceptual and methodological criteria, under conditions of incomplete information, in order to solve new theoretical and practical problems
Elaboration of professional and / or research projects, using innovatively a varied spectrum of quantitative and qualitative methods
Execution of complex professional tasks, under conditions of autonomy and professional independence
Assume roles / positions of management of the activity of professional groups or institutions.

Course Entry Requirements:

There is no compulsory work placement in the course unit.

Course contents:

Cultural heritage management includes identification, interpretation, maintenance and preservation of cultural sites and aheritage assets, including intangible components heritage, such as traditional techniques and cultures or languages, together with the natural or anthropic framework in which they are located.The course is focusing on managging the cultural heritage in all of its forms like: monument buildings, archaeological sites, ethnohgraphical sites and houses and mobil patromonium artefacts. Behind the differentiation in approaches to heritage management are any numberof causes, some of which are quite specific for particular countries. There are, however, some more general sources of differentiation that can be comprised under three headings: law, language, and learning.The management of the cultural heritage consists of several phases: evaluation, risk reduction, conservation,restoration and interpretation.

Managing the specialized language and the ability to communicate to the audience of specialists and non-specialists the results of the projects, the motivation of the decisions, the conclusions of the evaluations, the directions of the future actions; • establishing the proper direction on preserving the cultural heritage on the sites; •. To know, in detail, the problems that the historical heritage faces and the ability to apply the knowledge acquired through study for vocational training. Solving problem situations, in the field of humanities, of an advanced complexity.
