Course aims:

To read, communicate and write easily a text partaining to the field of humanities;
For the student to have individual study skills in the library and using unpublished documents;
For the student to use Office programs (WORD, EXCEL, PPS).

1. Preliminary issues 1.1. Choosing a theme; 1.2. Making working hypotheses; 1.3. The elaboration of the research plan; 2. Documentation Documentation sources; Direct documentation methods and techniques; 3. Information processing 3.1. Processing steps; 3.2. Processing methods and techniques; 3.3. Modeling and simulation; 3.4. Analysis and interpretation of results; 4. Formulation of conclusions 4.1. Types of results; 4.2. Ways of presentation; 5. Presentation 5.1. Regarding the choice of topic and the purpose of the research; 5.2. Research plan and methodology used; 5.3. Documentation and processing difficulties; 5.4. Content and structure of the paper; 5.5. Results obtained and personal contributions; 5.6. Regarding the importance of results.

Teaching methods:

Lecture, exemplification, conversation, debate, PowerPoint presentation, video-projections.

Learning outcomes:

The discipline aims to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on how to choose, define and argue about the research topics in the field of theology.

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Written paper-interpretative essay – 40%. Frontal evaluation / Oral exam: 60%
