• Transmitting, to students, the main cognitive, theoretical and methodological tools necessary for the understanding and pertinent analysis of the issue of deviance from a sociological (and scientific, in general) perspective Understanding historical, social and intellectual climate in which appeared and made itself known the sociology of deviance as a sociological branch. • Acquiring of an adequate approach of different social groups, taking into account their cultural specificities (judging "deviance" depending on the particular context in which it occurs)
