Course aims:

To define, describe, and explain the fundamental cultural elements; to know the main mediation principles, methods and techniques
To use cultural and historical elements to identify and explain the cultural elements that can generate conflict
To apply the basic principles of cultural mediation

Intercultural communication competence, Cultural variations in interpersonal relationships, Gender and communication, Cultures and learning styles, Nonverbal intercultural communication, Negotiating meanings within and across cultures: Workplace communication, Cultural variations in persuasion .
