Course aims:

To familiarize students with the terminology, methods, equipments and related software
Collecting, manipulating and using spatial data in data base management
To instruct students in the field and in the laboratory, through practical applications treated analytically, graphically, on how to acquire spatial data to solve problems in the field of cadastre and real estate management

General information about data acquisition and processing; Field study in the context of quantitative evaluation; The spatial and descriptive data required; Human resources in the process of acquisition, operation and maintenance of spatial data; The conceptual and logical design of spatial data; The criteria for selecting the equipment necessary for data collection, processing and maintenance; The organizing geo-topographic measurements and collecting the features of spatial data; The standardization of spatial data; The preparation of primary data processing reports and final documentation; Preparing data for GIS integration
