Course aims:

To form a system of operational capabilities to design, carry out and evaluate instructional-educational activities in the field of art education.
To demonstrate open and innovative epistemic attitudes, a condition for achieving the objectives of modern education
To utilize in different contexts the teaching strategies specific to the discipline for which they are preparing to become teachers

1. Fine arts education and visual education. The concept of fine arts didactics.

2. Objectives and competencies targeted by visual arts didactics

3. Elements of the grammar of visual language

4. Creativity in fine arts education

5. Principles of fine arts education paradigms

6. Teaching strategies

7. Teacher-student relationship in didactic interactions
- interpersonal relationships between teacher and student

8. Didactic evaluation in fine arts education

Teaching methods:

lecture, PowerPoint presentation, conversation, case study

Learning outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to plan and design teaching activities adapted to educational objectives, student needs, and specific learning contexts.

Evaluate educational activities using relevant assessment tools and providing constructive feedback to support student progress.

Use digital technologies effectively to enhance teaching, learning, and artistic-educational communication.

 

Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:

Ongoing assessment: participation and involvement in discussions – 30%, Written exam – 30%, Oral examination and portfolio presentation – 40%
