Course aims:
Knowledge of the main concepts in the IT area and use of different types efficiency-oriented computer applications (including online) office activity, research, translation.
Acquiring basic knowledge about IT concepts necessary for professional activity in the field.
Learning to use correctly a computer systems, efficient creation of complex documents and correct understanding of storage mechanisms and concepts / data recording, filtering and analysis.
Training and development of the ability to understand modern information technology used in current practice.

Internet: set up your personal email account, Microsoft Outlook presentation, Teams Platform, Online search techniques, search for trust sources, search for information of interest, use of a wiki system, translation sites (for translation specialized works)

Troubleshooting in Excel (using simple functions, inserting charts, etc.) - medium level.
Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:
On-the-go verification: creating an academic paper on a given topic in Microsoft Office Word and an academic presentation in Power Point based on the same topic.
