Course contents
The course covers the following main topics:
• Elementary issues for operating systems
• Using the Word editor for topography problems
• Using the Excel editor for topography problems
• Numerical methods for technical problems
• Using numerical program and graphic diagram for topography problems
• Using programming programs for solving engineering problems
Learning outcomes
- Defining of basic concepts and principles of computer science and mathematical theories and models.
- Interpretation of mathematical and informatics models (formal).
- Identifying the adequate models and methods to solve real problems.
- Using simulation to study the behavior patterns made and performance evaluation.
- Using of formal models in specific applications for various fields.
Assessment
Projects/Assignments –60%; continuous assessment – 40%.
