Course aims:
To acquire the foundations of sociological thinking and social interactions
To develop analysis capabilities of sociological issues from different theoretical perspectives
To use sociological imagination to understand social world and social problems

Lecture, conversation, exemplification.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the concepts used in the research of groups, organizations and communities Use of basic knowledge in explaining and interpreting social risks at organizations and community level. Evaluation and appreciation of policies, programs and services specific to social development in a sociological perspective
Learning outcomes verification and assessment criteria:
Written paper –– 60%; continuous assessment – 40%.
