Aims
Explain what a conflict really is and how it is formed
Describe different types of conflict that occurs in the workplace
Explain the various consequences of unresolved conflicts.
Explain how to establish a conflict resolution plan.
Describe Positive Communication Techniques that will help eliminate many conflicts from developing.

3. The ethical paradigm professional mediator and construction
4. Stages of Mediation
5. Mediator skills and self
6. Negotiation and integrative counseling - efficient solutions to conflict mediation
Learning outcomes
• develop learn effective therapeutic communication skills used in human services and counseling;
• gains interdisciplinary understanding of short and long term consequences of conflicts.
• understand the preconditions for conflict transformation, conflict resolution and peace in local as well as in international and global contexts.
• analyze the evolution of the conflicts and conflict resolution and gains knowledge of mediation and negotiation.
Assessment
Written paper –– 60%; project assessment – 40%.
